Max Buchwald D.D.S.

Dr. Max Buchwald earned his dental degree in 1981 from The University of Texas Dental Branch at San Antonio.  In 1981 he opened his private practice in Richardson.  Dr. Buchwald has been a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, International Association of Orthodontics, American Orthodontic Society for over 25 years.

Dr. Buchwald is married with 2 children and enjoys scuba diving, traveling, and golf. He is committed to lifelong education and professional development through continuing education.  He has received advanced training from some of the nations most prominent postgraduate dental training facilities.  He is a graduate of advanced aesthetic program’s sponsored by Lumineer, Zoom, and Invisalign and has advanced training through the American Orthodontic Society on speed braces, and certification from the Texas State Board examiners on conscious sedation without I.V. needles.

His continual training allows him to bring you the latest advancement in both cosmetic, orthodontic, and restorative dentistry.

Angela, RDA, Clinical Assistant

Angela has been working with Dr. Buchwald since 2000 and it's been a great experience. She is from Colombia and has been in the USA since 1988. She has two kids who give her a lot of joy. She is a Registered Dental Assistant. She has her Radiology certificate and is trained in CPR. She is also Nitrous Oxide licensed by the state of Texas. She also has a Massage Therapist license by the state of Texas. All this helps her to serve and care for our patients with the care they deserve.

Heather, Patient / Recall Coordinator

Heather joined our practice in 2008! She grew up in the Dallas area with family roots here and in Louisiana. She started her career in front office working for an Orthodontist and Pediatric Dentist in 1997, and then graduated to assisting for a General Dentist. She bought her first home here in Richardson in 2008 and was married in July of 2009. She loves all animals and loves helping people!
